Confirm the current CRA due-date page. - Most individuals file a T1 by April 30. Many self-employed individuals and their spouses or common-law partners file by June 15. The tax balance is often still due April 30. - For 2026, CRA payroll tables publish a federal basic personal amount of $16,452 maximum and $14,829 minimum. Confirm the current T4032 / TD1 figures before using them. - CRA publishes an RRSP dollar limit of $33,810 for 2026 and $35,390 for 2027. Usable room is the lesser of 18 percent of prior-year earned income and that limit, plus unused room on the Notice of Assessment. - A T2 is generally due six months after the corporate year-end. The corporate tax balance is generally due two months after year-end; some eligible CCPCs may have three months. - The GST/HST small-supplier threshold is generally $30,000 of worldwide taxable supplies, including zero-rated supplies, measured over a calendar quarter or the last four consecutive calendar quarters. - Alberta publishes a 2% small-business corporate income tax rate and an 8% general rate.
